Set within a gated community in South Goa, this 2,500 sq. ft villa renovation marks a complete interior and spatial transformation of a 30-year-old joint-family home. Dated in both utility and aesthetics, the villa had gradually fallen out of regular use. The brief was clear: reimagine the house for a younger generation while creating a compelling holiday destination - one that invites repeated return, encourages togetherness and feels emotionally alive.

 Today, when contemporary interiors increasingly lean toward minimalism, muted palettes, and monochromatic restraint, PCA group consciously chose to move in the opposite direction. Colour being the core of the project, not as decoration, but as experience. Rooted in the belief that colour carries emotion, bright walls and playful patterns became the design language. The vibrant hues energise each room creating a stimulating environment.

Material selection played a critical role in bringing the “House of Colour” to life. Central to the project is the richly executed coloured IPS flooring on the upper two levels, punctuated with brass inlay. Known for its durability and strength, IPS flooring is well-suited for holiday homes while offering immense scope for creative expression. Each room in the villa carries its own distinct theme and identity. Walls are finished with bespoke clay textures, lending depth and tactility & carefully selected wallpapers. Sculptural bathrooms echo the individual room themes, combining rich and vibrant tiles with IPS finishes, while wash basins were designed and cast in-situ using free-flowing IPS, blurring the line between form and function. Bespoke furniture, soft furnishings, wallpapers, and artworks - sourced from a range of vendors across India - have been carefully curated to integrate seamlessly, contributing to the villa’s layered character and cohesive yet playful aesthetic.
