India Iconic - Once upon a time

Hero Banner

Once upon a time the story of India when it danced with vibrant colours, each shade representing a unique story that is captivating even today. Ancient places of worship dressed in the vibrant colours of saffron and gold, that now stand as testaments to unwavering faith, while magnificent monuments in earthy tones symbolise craftsmanship and honour. Even our clothing, like the flowing Ajrakh fabrics adorned with colourful patterns, embodies the traditional arts, which we proudly cherish. Within the realm of art, the extraordinary brushstrokes of Raja Ravi Varma's portraits bring deities to life in deep and muted hues. Miniature paintings dazzle with their intricate details and vibrant colours, exhibiting the skill and passion of our artists of our country.

These hues, deeply rooted in India's rich heritage, serve as inspiration for this collection, paying homage to our nation's legacy. Embrace these colours, embrace the spirit, and let your surroundings reflect the beauty that is India.

In the vibrant courts of medieval India, amidst royal exchanges and majestic architecture, Indian miniature paintings found their canvas. These miniatures, heavily influenced by Indian literature, adorned the pages of manuscripts, and stood as individual works of art. They visualized exciting fables and epic battles, bridging the gap for those unable to read. From the Janamsakhis to the Mughal empires, miniatures depicted India's diverse heritage with bright colours, intricate patterns, and elaborate detailing. These hues, so vividly captured in such a compact frame, inspired our story.Just as the miniatures narrated tales of valour and royalty, let your walls become storytellers, echoing India’s rich culture and history.
